Job description

We are looking for a hard core sales professional to join our team as business development manager to expand company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence in assigned territory. This is a purely B2B sales and the entire sales cycle will be handled by a single person. To succeed in this role you must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with proven ability to negotiate and close a deal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and visiting schools in assigned territory.
  • Engage with school owners to assess their needs and challenges.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to demonstrate our software application and value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to close the deal and achieve revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the implementation team to ensure timely and successful implementation of the application.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, managing their needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and content that support business growth.
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking all leads using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements and achieve client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in software selling, preferably from education domain.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must have own vehicle, laptop and smartphone with good internet connectivity.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
